Information we collect
CardIQ does not require you to create an account or provide personal information to use the rewards calculator. We collect anonymous usage data through Google Analytics (page views, session duration, referral sources) and Google AdSense (which may set cookies to show relevant ads). No personally identifiable information is stored on our servers.
How we use spending data
The spending amounts you enter in the calculator are processed entirely in your browser. They are never transmitted to our servers or stored anywhere. When you leave or refresh the page, this data is gone.
Affiliate disclosure
CardIQ participates in affiliate marketing programs. When you click "Apply" on a credit card and are approved, we may receive a commission from the card issuer or affiliate network (typically $50–$405 per approved application). This commission comes at no cost to you — card terms and rewards rates are the same whether you apply through CardIQ or directly. Our card rankings are determined solely by calculated rewards value, not commission rates.
Advertising
We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google may use cookies to show ads based on your prior visits to our site and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. We do not control the content of third-party advertisements.
